Elimination
The renal clearance of a drug refers to the volume of plasma that is completely cleared of the drug by the kidneys per unit time. It is a measure of how efficiently the kidneys can eliminate a drug from the bloodstream through processes such as glomerular filtration, tubular secretion, and reabsorption.

If the checkbox is selected, the system interprets the input as an adult value and subsequently calculates the corresponding renal clearance for children using the scaling equations of glomerular filtration rate and renal clearance provided by W.L.Hayton1 and Edginton et al.2 respectively.
